Minister for Social Care and Mental Wellbeing joins Annual Scientific Meeting line-up

The NHS Research Scotland Mental Health Network is hosting its Annual Scientific Meeting next month in an accessible hybrid format, proudly boasting a strong line-up of speakers
Taking place at the University of Strathclyde’s Technology & Innovation Centre (TIC) in Glasgow on Thursday 30 October, the free to attend event will also be available to view online.
The Network is welcoming all who are interested and involved with mental health research in Scotland to attend in-person or virtually — and is delighted to announce that Minister for Social Care and Mental Wellbeing, MSP Tom Arthur will be giving the opening address.
Dr Donald MacIntyre, Network Director of NRS Mental Health said: “We are honoured to have the Minister, Mr Arthur, kicking off the meeting for our highly engaged audience, whether attending in-person or virtually.”
Mr Arthur recently spoke of being “committed to building a Scotland where everyone feels valued, supported, and connected. We will continue to listen, learn, and act — guided by evidence and compassion.”

If you would like to submit a poster abstract, please complete the submission form and send to Lisa. Posters will be presented in-person and presenters will automatically be registered for an in-person place. The closing date for poster abstracts is Friday 10 October. The Network is unable to accept submissions after that date.
